New years studio news 2021

Hopefully you’re year is unfolding in the best way possible so far? In this current  climate, today’s news may not be tomorrow’s news!
So for today, in line with the current government guidelines ... The Studio is open from Monday 4th Jan for 121s only, as the guidelines say ‘no group classes inside’. 
At the moment we can do 121s on Zoom or face to face in the studio.

The Zoom Mat/Oov/Somatic classes will continue as usual at the regular times:

Monday 9.30am Oov/Mat Kath
Monday 7.30pm Somatics Ian
Tuesday 9.30am somatic movement Kath
Wednesday 9.30am Mat Gaynor
Wednesday 8.30pm Oov/Mat Kath
Thursday 9.30am Mat/Oov Kath

If you’d like to keep your regular 121 slot or change the time, do let me know as soon as you can.

The slightly better news is that, there is more time to do one to ones. So if you would like to come into the studio and use the equipment or have a Hendrickson treatment then please do book in as soon as you can; as you know, availability disappears very fast!

When the inevitable happens… And we are all in lockdown once again ... all classes and one-to-one‘s will return to zoom only!

Improve your gut health and your immune system!

Hi all, For those of you who don't know me, I am Ian Young and am a Somatics teacher and also help Kath out with admin to keep the Studio running! This time last year I undertook a 21 day Purify gut health reset. I live with a form of arthritis called Ankylosing Spondylitis and take anti-inflammatories and other drugs to control my disease but was interested to see if changing my gut health could help. I was worried that i may not be able to tell if it was working, but i need not have worried, as I could definitely feel a big reduction in my pain and stiffness. As you can see from the photos, my skin was quite red and inflamed before but not after, I also lost belly fat and improved my posture! And the reset also helped me to really change my outlook on food and adjust my diet to keep the benefits.

As a result, I trained as a Gut Health Mentor and am now supporting others to go through this same process. Improving your gut health microbiome can help so many aspects of your health.
