Welcome back to the Studio!

*|MC:SUBJECT|*

A huge heartfelt welcome back to the Studio!

We are so excited to be welcoming you back to the Studio next week. There will be no classes on Monday as we are doing a deep clean that day.

Studio classes start on Tuesday 8th. Please read the information below carefully about how to keep yourself & ourselves safe during this transition period.

We have set up our autumn timetable for both online and for in-Studio classes.Studio classes will be Reformer and Gym only and a few 121s Mat/Oov and Somatics classes remaining online.

Class sizes will be strictly limited in Studio, to ensure Social/physical distancing is observed and so early booking is advised. Please only book for classes, you know that you will be able to attend. We have had to change the times of most classes to allow for thorough cleaning in between

New Studio Procedures

Please arrive at the start time of your class and wait on the landing by the lifts (we are still sharing the building with other occupants so we cannot have people waiting in corridors). Your teacher will fetch you at the start of class. Please come dressed to move.

what to bring with you:
  • A bag to contain ALL of your belongings
  • Water bottle
  • Mask
  • Gloves if required
  • A towel or small cushion for your head to lie on.
  • Any other of your own equipment you wish to use (but we will provide all the usual equipment apart from soft head blocks as these are hard to sanitise)

We will have a one way system in the Studio so as you arrive please wash your hands straight away and follow the one way system to your Reformer station. There will be a box of equipment for your personal use at the end of your Reformer. You will stay on the same piece of equipment throughout, or for Gyms you will be assigned a specific Reformer and Trapeze Table to work with. There will be no moving around the studio. Gym programs will need to be modified to account for this.

We will avoid physical corrections as much as is possible. Please let your teacher know if you have any strong feelings about this.

We will be, and we ask that you all are, respectful to others' level of social distancing/hygiene procedures. Anxiety levels may be high but we hope to invoke the usual sense of warm welcome & calm in the studio. We want you to feel uplifted and rejuvenated by your visit.

We have bought wipeable straps for the Reformers but we also have some spares so if anyone would like to buy their own straps and bring them with them each time, please email us as we only have a limited number available.

At this time the government guidelines do not require you to wear a mask while exercising and we are happy for you to use your own discretion. We do ask that you wear your mask in common areas. Staff will be wearing visors.

At the end of your class please wipe down your Reformer or Trapeze Table and put the things that you have used from the equipment box back into the box and we will sanitise everything between classes.

You may put shoes & coats on at your station but any other clothing will have to be done outside the Studio. Your teacher will escort you all at a safe distance up the corridor. As you can imagine we all need to pull together so no one is waiting for someone else & teachers can get on with the cleaning!!

As we have said this is unprecedented time and we may not have thought of every necessary precaution. We gratefully ask for your patience and cooperation at this time. If there is anything you feel we have missed or could do more of then please do email us we really need to work together as a team to ensure we all stay safe and continue being able to do what we love ....moving our bodies & feeling great πŸ’—πŸ€ΈπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any suggestions or feedback in regards to this email and the proposed reopening of the studio. Any questions with all of this please email headingleypilates@gmail.com
We love hearing from you and really appreciate your loyalty and custom.

With warmest wishes to all of you
