Inspirational Fundraising Online Wellbeing Day:
Sun 25th April

Join us on Sunday 25th April for a whole day of wonderous self-care loveliness! We will have Pilates, Ballet Barre, Breathing Meditation, Somatics and Soma Yoga. To round the day off a guided DIY foot bath, hand and facial massage ...a Weleda pamper pack full of goodies will be sent to you beforehand.

Use this time as a gift to yourself & gift a friend in need.
We need this gift of kindness and improved wellbeing now more than ever, give to yourself and give to charity, you cant get better than that!
You don't have to be Leeds based or even a customer of ours, lets spread this net wide!
Replenish, realign, stretch and relax your whole self, body, mind and soul.
You can dip in and out of the days activities .... just do the morning, which is more physical or the afternoon, which is more relaxing.
The day will be packed full of fun, laughter, deep breaths and deeply nourishing movement. Loads of take away practical tools to use on yourself or share with others again and again.

Class Descriptions:
Breathing and Meditation
Breathe, ground and connect with your deep self. An introduction that will prepare your mind body and heart for an incredibly enriching day.

Pilates Mat with home props
A Pilates Matwork class using everyday items that you will find in your home.

Garuda Barre
An introduction to Garuda Barre work by Hannah Tindall, a former principal soloist from Northern Ballet. Learn some basic ballet barre movements integrated in a flowing rhythm. You will need a stable chair to participate.

Hanna Somatics is a movement practice aimed at removing stress and tension from the body through whole body movements which help to release us from our habitual holding patterns. The movements are gentle and accessible to all but can have a profound impact on how you move and feel in your body.

Somatic Yoga
A gentle somatic yoga class which won't include any kneeling postures or weight-bearing postures on hands and knees like downward-facing dog, so it will be more accessible and inclusive for all.

Weleda Self-Massage Pamper Session
The session includes a foot bath and foot massage, applying a face mask and teaching you simple firming facial massage techniques, a chest and shoulder self massage, followed by a guided hand massage. For each person that registers for the event, you will be sent a pamper pack with Weleda product samples for you to use on the day - or if you prefer, you can use your own products. The week before the event, I will provide a list of useful things for you to have ready for the session. To help the event be a big success, I will donate any commission I may earn at the event towards buying products to donate to the staff who work at the hospice as a thank you treat for them.
