Wheatfields fundraising ball class

 Pilates on the Ball
Saturday 2nd May 11am on zoom

A fun ball class, (or you can use a chair if you don't have a ball!) We are going to do a range of fun & sometimes challenging Pilates exercises on and around the ball.
Every penny goes to Wheatfield's Hospice. They are really struggling to stay open, as all their usual fundraising streams have stopped due to the lockdown.
Please help by signing up to the class, telling someone about it or just donating your fee!
You can book directly on just giving website, see link below. I have pledged to raise £1000 for them & will do more classes till we reach the amount ... it's only £10 per person .... so please dig deep!
Last year I lost my best friend to cancer, and she spent her last days in Wheatfield's. I'm sure you all know someone who has benefited from the loving, compassionate care that Wheatfield's provide.

See you on zoom on Saturday, the link is the usual one, if you don't know it text me and I will forward it to you.

Please pay on just giving before joining the class.

Virtual 121s

During this time when you can't get to the studio, you may really notice issues in your own body and wonder if there is anything you can be doing to take good care of it during this period of confinement. There are always things we can do to help and despite not having all the Pilates equipment of the Studio, we can often improvise with things you do have at home.
Hopefully you are taking up the zoom classes and enjoying having live guidance and support right in your living room! If you are on Facebook we now have a private group with short video tutorials to help you care your body in different ways.
So whilst Kath is unable to offer 121s at this time, Gaynor is still available online at her usual times. We are also very pleased to announce that Ian is now taking bookings for online 121s and is offering a special introductory price of £45 (see below).

Ian Young
Somatic Movement Coach

Ian came into the world of Movement Teaching, through a challenging personal journey of coping with severe arthritis, since childhood, to the extent that he had to use a walking stick. Working with Kath years of pain and stiffness started to unravel, and within a year he was walking better than he had for decades and gave up his walking stick!
The combination of Studio Pilates and Somatics has had such an amazing impact, that Ian was inspired to train as a Somatic Movement Teacher. He has also been trained on the Oov by the inventor Daniel Vladeta.

Ian uses a Somatic approach using the Oov & Somatics to help people to move better, in his one to ones and his weekly online classes.
Monday 7.30pm Soma Oov
And 121s at the special introductory offer price of £45.
